Welcome to The Seamus Heaney Centre
Established as a Centre for excellence in poetry and research, the Centre has, from the beginning also been the home of Creative Writing at Queen's, embracing as Seamus did in his writing lifetime, playwriting, prose, translation and song as well as poetry, criticism as well as practice. And now, twenty years after it first opened, we will be moving to a new landmark venue to write the next chapter for the Centre.
