To coincide with Tinderbox's production of Yerma, Shirley-Anne McMillan, the Children's Writing Fellow for Northern Ireland, will talk at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen's about how the play's themes have informed her own work and how young people might navigate societal pressures and the world around us.

This talk is suitable for 16-18 year olds and school groups can reserve places by using the registration link on this page. Group discount for performances of Yerma may be available from the Lyric box office.

Additional dates may be added in line with demand. Any questions about this event can be sent to stephen.connolly@qub.ac.uk.

Find out more about the Tinderbox production of Yerma here.
