Blackbird is an anthology of writing from the MA and PhD programmes in Poetry and Creative Writing at Queen's. The next edition of the anthology, which will be published in print and online e-book in Spring 25, aims to showcase some of the best work coming out of the poetry and creative writing programmes at Queen's.
The selection of work this year was made by Dawn Watson and Tara West.
Call for Submissions
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS - MON 17 JUN 2024
If you are a current student (class of 2024) on the MA in Poetry OR the MA in Creative Writing at Queen's:
- Please submit 4-5 poems OR up to 2500 words of prose
- Send to shc@qub.ac.uk, with the suject line BLACKBIRD SUBMISSION
- Please indicate whether your work is poetry or prose, and attach as a Word document.
